Polyester Oxford fabric is constructed from continuous filament polyester yarns in a plain or warp-ribbed plain weave, then back-coated or laminated with polyurethane (PU) or polyvinyl chloride (PVC) to control water penetration, improve abrasion resistance and stabilise the fabric structure. Deniers ranging from 210D to 1680D are produced on water‑jet looms, yielding a material that balances tensile strength, tear resistance and controlled stiffness. The coated surface can be engineered for hydrostatic pressure ratings above 1,000 mm (depending on denier and coating thickness), flame retardancy to NFPA 701 or EN 533, and UV resistance. The entire Oxford fabric range is certified to OEKO‑TEX® STANDARD 100, confirming that every component—polyester yarn, dye chemicals and coating—has been tested for substances harmful to human health. The certification is renewed annually and facilitates compliance with EU REACH and other international textile regulations. On request, a copy of the valid certificate can be provided with the shipment documents.

Denier (D) indicates the linear mass of the yarn. A higher denier generally means a thicker, heavier and more tear‑resistant fabric. 210D and 420D are often used for lightweight backpack linings or promotional bags. 600D and 900D are common for mid‑weight luggage shells and tool pouches. 1200D and 1680D are selected where maximum abrasion resistance and rigidity are required, such as heavy‑duty tool bags or industrial covers. Our standard Oxford fabric is back‑coated with polyurethane (PU). Under ISO 811 testing, 600D PU‑coated fabric typically achieves a hydrostatic head of ≥ 800 mm. Higher values (1,000 mm and above) can be obtained with a double‑coating process or by switching to a PVC coating. Custom coating formulations, including breathable microporous PU, are also available on request.
Yes. For solid colours, we offer a lab‑dip matching service against a Pantone reference or physical sample. Digital printing and water‑based pigment printing are supported for custom patterns and logos. The minimum order quantity for printed fabric is the same as stock colours (1,500 metres per colour), although a small surcharge for plate‑making may apply on first print run.
We supply free A4‑size swatches of stock qualities for initial evaluation. The customer covers the courier cost or provides a collect account. Sample requests are typically dispatched within 1–2 working days. For custom colours, a lab‑dip swatch is prepared first, which may add 2–3 working days before the physical sample ships.

Every dye lot is tested in‑house before shipment. Test data is linked to the batch number and archived for full traceability. Only lots that pass all criteria are released.
